Hybrid Passenger Cars

New motor vehicles that have an EPA estimated highway gasoline mileage rating of at least 40 MPG. Sales between 10/1/2004 and 9/30/2008. |

Hybrid means a passenger car that draws acceleration energy from two onboard sources of stored energy, which are both an internal combustible fuel and a rechargeable energy storage system. |
