Carpooling
Next time you're driving to work, look around (carefully!) at your fellow commuters. How many people are driving alone, often in big sedans and SUVs? It's simple math really. If every commuter had one passenger, the amount of commuters on the road would be cut in half. And if every commuter had 2, 3 or 4 passengers? Okay, we might need a calculator for that. But the point is, it's not just great for traffic flow, it's great for the environment.
Carpooling is a remarkably powerful OneThing you can do to save energy. And it doesn't have to cramp your lifestyle. Why not carpool just one or two days a week? You may find you like the freedom and the company. And you'll definitely find you'll like the cost savings!
With all the convenient park and ride lots all over the state, you can organize your own carpool just by getting together with a friend or coworker who lives nearby. You can carpool with your spouse or children. Or, you can join an organized carpool with the help of one of these companies.
